Terms of Service

These terms explain the responsibilities that keep EarnedCrew useful, safe, and dependable for every workspace.

Effective: August 17, 2026

Using EarnedCrew

EarnedCrew is a business tool for commission calculation, payroll review, and related team records. You must be legally able to enter into these terms and authorized to act for the organization whose workspace you create or join. You are responsible for accurate account information, safeguarding credentials, and activity performed through your account.

Workspace administration and team access

Workspace owners control invitations, roles, compensation rules, job records, and access to their organization’s data. Owners must only add people and information they are authorized to manage, promptly remove access that is no longer appropriate, and comply with applicable employment, privacy, and record-keeping requirements.

Your data

You retain ownership of information you submit. You give EarnedCrew permission to host, process, display, and back up that information as needed to provide and protect the service. You are responsible for its accuracy, legality, and the instructions used to calculate payouts. Our handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.

Not payroll, legal, accounting, or tax advice

EarnedCrew helps organize and calculate compensation records, but it is not a payroll processor and does not replace professional advice. Your organization remains responsible for reviewing calculations, approving payments, paying workers, withholding and remitting amounts, and complying with contracts and applicable law.

Acceptable use

You may not:

  • Use the service unlawfully or infringe another person’s rights.
  • Attempt to access another workspace or account without permission.
  • Interfere with security, availability, or normal service operation.
  • Upload malicious code or use the service to distribute spam.
  • Reverse engineer the service except where law expressly permits it.

Free beta and future paid services

EarnedCrew is currently offered as a free beta. Pro is not currently available for purchase. If we introduce paid plans, pricing and any additional billing terms will be shown before you authorize a charge. We will not charge you merely because you created a free account.

Availability and beta changes

We work to keep EarnedCrew reliable, but beta software may change, contain errors, or experience interruptions. We may add, modify, or discontinue features and may suspend access when needed for security, maintenance, legal compliance, or misuse. We will try to give reasonable notice of material changes when practical.

Ownership and feedback

EarnedCrew and its software, design, and branding belong to us and our licensors. These terms give you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service. If you provide feedback, you allow us to use it without restriction or compensation.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service at any time and may request account deletion or a reasonable export through support. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, security risk, unlawful use, or prolonged inactivity. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the beta service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, fitness for a particular purpose, or error-free calculations. To the extent permitted by law, EarnedCrew will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost profits, or lost data arising from use of the service.

Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Ontario will have jurisdiction, except where applicable consumer law requires otherwise. Questions may be sent to support@earnedcrew.com.
